Ross Fritter

Ross Fritter

Klamath Falls, Ore - Ross Lemay "Buzz" Fritter, a Napa native, died here Saturday (Jan. 11, 1992). He was 50.

Mr. Fritter was born on June 22, 1941 to Shirley L. Fritter and the former Catherine Petersen.

He met Marlene K. Bell in Napa in July of 1966 and they married in Reno, NV on Oct. 23, 1966. They moved in February of 1967 to Roseburg, Ore. where Mr. Fritter worked for the local VW dealership until he moved to Klamath Falls in December of 1975 to work for Sherrills VW.

Mr. Fritter worked for numerous auto agencies until 1983 when he went to work for Maywood Industries. He was a millwright at the time of his retirement in December of 1990.

His hobbies were computer programming, sand table war games, photography and motorcycling.

He was president of the Commodore Users Group.

Mr. Fritter is survived by his wife, Marlene of Klamath Falls, Ore; his son, Matthew of Klamath Falls, Ore; his mother and stepfather Ralph and Catherine Bickford of Napa; his stepmother, Hazel Fritter of Reno, NV; three stepsisters, Lindsay Bickford of Napa, Caron Ewald of St Helena and Leanne White of Santa Rosa; a brother, Steven of Rifle, CO; two uncles and one aunt; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
