Daniel David Johansen

     Funeral services will be held Monday for Daniel D. Johansen who was killed in an auto accident in Sonoma County on Wednesday, Dec. 9th, 1981. He was 39 years old.

     Mr. Johansen was born in Vallejo, Jan. 20th, 1942 and moved with his family to Benicia for a short time before coming to Napa. He attended Soda Canyon Elementary School, Redwood Junior High and graduated in the class of 1960 from Napa High School.

     He married Sharon K. Uhlick Jan. 4th, 1961. After high school Mr. Johansen worked for a short time at Mare Island Naval Shipyard. Later he went to work for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. as an electronic technician.

     He enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a fan of drag racing and boat racing.

     Survivors include his wife Sharon and two daughters, Connie R. and Deanna, all of Napa; his parents, Knute and Frances Johansen of Napa; a sister, Maryann Adams of Vallejo; several aunts and uncles, four nieces and one nephew.

     Friends are invited to attend 11 a.m. funeral services Monday at the chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail. The Rev. Erwin Bollinger will officiate. Inurnment will be in Napa Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

     The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the PG&E Scholarship Fund.
