Noel Gregory "Greg" Kardy, 68, passed away on Sept. 10th, 2010. He was born on Jan. 12th, 1942 in San Francisco to George and Kathryn Kardasakis. He worked at Mare Island for 30 years as a teacher of nuclear science.

     He enjoyed playing golf and serving at Hopewell Baptist Church as a Sunday school teacher, bus driver and usher. His life of service and faithfulness impacted many people.

     Greg is survived by his wife Bernadine; his sons Glenn Kardy of Japan, Chris Kardy of Manteca, Calif. and Robin Kardy of Livermore, Calif.; and daughter Marnie Kardy of Elk Grove, Calif.

     A service to honor his life will be held Saturday, Sept. 18th, 11am at Hopewell Baptist Church, 3755 Linda Vista Ave., Napa. Memories and words of sympathy may be shared with the family online at tulocaycemetery.org.
