Richard "Dick" Curtis

I knew Janice well while  growing up.  Her mother was a Cub Scout Den Mother and I was her Boy Scout Den Chief.  I used to go over to their home early before the meetings and visit with Janice before the meetings.  She was really nice as was her mom, and dad.  At a scouting event they were having foot races and I thought that I was pretty fast so I challenged Janices dad to a race.  I quickly found out that I was not all that fast.  Her dad, who I considered an old man at the time, kicked my butt, laughing all the way to the finish line.  Janice thought it was a riot.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
