Valerie J. Olsen, 55, died at her residence in Sacramento earlier this week (Jan 3, 1998). Valerie was born in Napa on May 3, 1942 to Clyde and Isabel Martinelli.

Valerie attended Napa schools and graduated from Napa High School in 1960. She worked at the Crocker Bank in Napa. In 1976, Valerie moved to Sacramento where she was also employed by Crocker. She left banking in order to assist her husband with his business.

As hobbies, she loved animals and built doll houses. She was an avid Giants and 49ers fan.

She is survived by: John F. Olsen, husband of Sacramento; Christopher J. Olsen, son of Davis; Matt T. Olsen, son of Sacramento; Clyde "Bo" Martinelli Jr., brother of Napa; and Bonnie Tevlin, sister of Napa.
