Eileen Ostrom (Buder)
Eileen Katherine Buder passed away peacefully on July 19, 2008, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. Her family was right by her side.
Daughter to the late Merle Ostrom and Lucile Deghi of Napa; wife of the late Joel Buder; beloved mother of LuAnn McClure (Alan) and Richard Benson Jr.; grandmother of Melissa Rackley (Chris), Daniel McClure, Richard Benson, Ill and Morgan Benson; sister to Susan Fisher, the late Judy Ostrom and Kermit Ostrom.
Eileen was born in Fordville, N.D., and lived in the Napa Valley for 65 years. She loved the great outdoors, raising Golden Retrievers, and fishing. She especially loved to watch the San Francisco Giants play baseball. She had a loving heart and a kind voice that made a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her dearly and remembered as a courageous, brave and hard-working woman.
