George Perry

George Arthur Perry, 67, passed away peacefully at home with his family present after a long illness. He was born to Harvey and Jean Perry, Aug. 30, 1941 in Vallejo. He married Carolyn Little on March 2, 1962. George worked as a skilled automotive mechanic for over 40 years.

George enjoyed hunting, fishing, abalone-diving and abalone dinners with family and friends and drag racing. He also was a certified diver. George will be remembered for his courage and positive attitude, strong and committed with a stubborn will. He persevered.
  

George is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of Napa; sons Steven and Jeff of Napa; two sisters, Mary Perry Moorehead of Napa and Rebecca of Paradise; brother John Perry, of Southern California; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail, in Napa. Interment will be private at TulocayCemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George’s name to Hospice of Napa Valley, 414 S. Jefferson St., Napa, CA  94559.
