William Franklin Poff, 60, passed away on Monday (Jan 8, 2001) at Vaca Valley Hospital. He was born on Oct. 29, 1940 in Osawatomie, Kan.

He graduated from Napa High in 1959. He had been a laborer for the Yountville Veterans Hospital and enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and woodwork.

William is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Lee Poff of Vallejo; son, William Franklyn Poff III of Napa; sister, Rebecca Wolley of Vacaville; and one granddaughter. He had been preceded in death by his sister, Laura May Poff-Meyer, Sarah Marie Poff-Birch and Bonnie Jean Poff-Doherty.

Burial will be at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
