Richard (Rich) Roberson, 71 passed away on August 7, 2013. He was born April 10th, 1942 in Napa to Rufus and Flora Roberson. After graduating from Napa High School, he began a 52-year career in construction. As a general building contractor, he ran his own business and loved going to work every day. He and Norma married in 1960 and built their life together.

Richard was a kind man who was truthful with his clients and employees. He loved his family and his work, and lived on the workaholic side of life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Norma (Flatt); sons, Richard (Cari) Roberson and John Roberson; grandchildren,Gillian, Nicholas, Jeff and Ashley; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Flora Roberson; and his brother, Robert (Peggy) Roberson.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, from 2-5 p.m. at the Napa Valley Mobile Home clubhouse. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2455 Bennett Valley Road, Suite 204B, Santa Rosa, CA 95404.
