Carol Ann Ruha Abeel

NAPA - Carol passed away at home, July 27, 2024. She was born in Richmond, CA., March 27, 1942 to parents Cal and Ines Ruha. The family moved to Napa in 1955. Carol graduated from Napa High School in 1960. She married Layne Abeel in 1963 and they spent 51 happy, fun filled years together until his death in 2014.

Carol worked at Kaiser Hospital until she retired in 1998. She then worked at Copia and donated her time to community projects for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Layne, her son, Marc, her brother, Robert and brother-in-law, Joe. She is survived by her son Jeff, her sisters Barbara (Tim) Hudelson and Linda Ghisletta and two nephews, Adam and Andrew Ghisletta.

Private service and burial at Tulocay Cemetery.
