Marietta Scott, 56, died on Feb 4 following a long illness.

She was born on Dec 13, 1941 to William and Madeline Scharf. She spent her life here in Napa and graduated from Napa High School in 1960.

She was employed at Westwood Elementary School as a teacher's aid specializing in handicapped children. She also taught religious education at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

She was a past president of the Westwood PTA.

She is survived by her husband, Victor E Scott of Napa; her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick M and Nancy Scott of Vacaville; her daughter and son-in-law, Jim and Jill Fehring of Napa; her grandchildren, Alex and Hannan Scott, and Jenna and Jason Fehring; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Luiz of Napa and her uncle, Anthony Celasco.
