In Memory

Peggy Wall

Peggy Lou Wall was born in Oakland, Ca. on June 18th, 1942 to George and Bonita Wall. She was the oldest of three sisters and lived in Napa for 72 years.

Peggy taught school in the Napa Valley for years before joining the Shackford's family where she worked as a sales clerk for 25+ years. People came into the store to purchase kitchen supplies and to ask questions of Peggy because they knew she was very knowledgeable, especially in the cake decorating section. She was a masterful cake decorator who made and sold cakes for many wonderful occasions. Peggy combined her love for teaching and cake decorating by teaching cake decorating classes through Adult Ed. She also enjoyed making cards with rubber stamps.

Peggy was a proud member of the Napa community where she served as a Voting Poll Worker and PTA member.

Because of her strong faith, Peggy was very active in the Primitive Baptist Church all of her life. She loved to sing her Lord's praises and had a beautiful alto voice.

Peggy went home to be with her Lord on October 4th, 2015 in Napa. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17th at Tulocay, 411 Coombsville Rd. in Napa. There will be a reception following the services.

Condolences to the family may be left at tulocaycemetery.org.
