Robert P. Young, 34 of 2308 Barry street, died Saturday, Dec. 25th, 1976 at Queen of the Valley Hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Young was born in Gilroy, Calif. in 1942. The family moved to Vallejo in 1943 and lived there until 1948 at which time they moved to Napa.

Mr. Young attended Napa schools for his early education and graduated from Napa Senior High School in 1960. He attended Napa Junior College and San Francisco State College graduating with a B.A. in English in 1965. 

He then went to work for the government as a forms analyst at Mare Island. He worked there for four years then went to work for Blue Shield also as a form analyst for five years. In 1974 he went to work for the Fireman's Fund in San Francisco in the same capacity.

He was a member of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses West Congregation Kingdom Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen of Napa, his daughter Susan of Napa, his son Daniel of Napa, one brother James of Mount Shasta, and his parents, Mr. Winston Young and Mrs. Linnie Young, of Napa.

Friends are invited to attend Memorial Services at 2p.m.,Tuesday, at Richard Pierce Funeral Service, with Mr. Edward Villegas officiating.

Internment will be private.
