Memorial services for Terry N. Thompson, 63 will be at 3 p.m. March 29th at the Tulocay Cemetery in Napa. Mr. Thompson died Sunday, March 13th, 2005 in his Coeur d' Alene, Idaho home.
He was born Oct. 16th, 1941 in Napa where he attended school. After service in the U.S. Navy he worked as a welder at Kaiser Steel in Napa, then as a painter at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard.
During his 10 year marriage to his first wife Carol, he fathered Bret, Aron and Wayne. He was married to his second wife Diane for 24 years and was a loving stepfather to her children, Mark, Gary and Bill Miller and Cindy Ceja.
Beginning in the late 1980's he began suffering a series of disabling strokes. Following the death of his son Wayne in an automobile accident Mr. Thompson moved to Clark Ford, Idaho in 1992, then to Coeur d' Alene in 2001.
Prior to his illness he was a avid gun collector, black powder enthusiast, fisherman, gardener and gold panner. He had also been active in the Masonic Order.
In addition to his children and stepchildren, Mr. Thompson is survived by three brothers, Timothy, Douglas and Marlin, and two sisters, Sheila and Taffy and 16 grandchildren
