In Memory

Patricia "Pat" Inglis

Pat was a member of the Napa Senior High School class of 1960. She left school early with a GED at Napa. Patricia Ann Inglis LeVan passed away at home in Grants Pass Or. on 11-21-21. During her life, she was a devoted wife to Russ LeVan, loving mother to Terri, Debbie, Kandi, a fun sister to Beth Inglis Farlow and brother Bill Inglis, a caring daughter to Martha, Bill Sr. and a true friend to those who knew her.

She loved a joke and liked surprising others with something unexpected and delighted in being surprised. The best surprise was a well-kept secret that she lived in Colorado and it was time for her 50th birthday. When she arrived at work, she found her office full of black balloons provided by Russ and Beth.

She married Russ, the love of her lie, and went with him on his journey as a Circulation Manager of numerous newspapers. They lived in Napa. Ca., Coos Bay, Or. Grass Valley, Ca.,Greeley, Co. and Grants Pass, Or. during their 62+ years. Once Russ retired from "The Newspaper Business" she was his co-partner in a small mom and pop store in Merlin, Or.

Pat's professional life was varied and interesting. She was on the support staff at Napa College, secretary for the Oregon State Police in Coos Bay, a dispatcher for the Grass Valley City Police, a dispatcher for the Nevada County Sheriffs Department, the Administrative Assistant for the Dean of Students at Aims College in Greely and was in charge of the testing office at Josphine Community College in Grants Pass.

She did wonderful crossstich pieces, enjoyed vacations, spent many winter evenings playing board and card games, worked cross-word puzzles daily, and LUVED jigsaw puzzles where her favorite saying was "this piece doesn't fit, I need my scissors!"

To conclude, Pat lived well, loved lastingly and was curious, kind and caring.
