Marilyn Gushe (Budde)

I just got my Memory Book in the mail today....August 12th.....better late than never I guess.

It did arrive 4th class and not perfect in fact the edges are all folded and kinda beat up like it has

been tossed around for 3 months somewhere.   The pictures are great and in color.

I received mine today as well. There is one thing that somehow I missed out on......cuz I knew Nothing about it. I see that everyone has an individual picture of either being alone or with your spouse. I am not there. I was never told when the picture was to be taken....therefore it wasn't taken.

No no big deal. A matter of principle.

I also received my Memory Book on August 12 so they have at least made it as far as Redondo Beach.  I hope everyone receives their copy soon!

Interesting, Richard, because they can't make it to Fairfield.  :(

Cissy,

We were directing people to the room to be photographed.  At one point, Marilyn, let us know that we needed to cut off the line because it was going through the lobby and out the door.  So, you might have been in that part of the line.  However, I believe there should have been an announcement so that everyone knew they were supposed to go to that room to have an individual photo taken.

I am sincerely sorry that many people were missed because of this.  I think it is very sad that this happened.

Thanks, Diane. It should have been announced. Too much going on, too little room to move.

Hmmmmmmmmm, I am still waiting for my Memory Book and I only live in Fairfield!  Very disappointed.

Hmmmmmmm too.

I don't think Marilyn's mail man made it down to my end of the street. I'm now sitting on the curve with a cardboard sign that says "Will work for a memory book" Is there such a grouping as "Fifth Class Mail" or Dave Johnson's "Classless Mail"?

They can't seem to find Vallejo either.

Actually Mr. Benning, I'm full of Shih-Tzu. They are quite delicious.

The Wells Fargo wagon arrived in Susanville today. They had my memory book. After watching the pony riders go by day after day this is joyful. ??

Today I have my memory book!!

Marilyn you did a wonderful job and it turned out better than I had hoped. Even though it was addressed to "Occupant" I will still keep it.  Now that I have crossed over the line to join "THE HAVES" I don't want to hear from the "HAVE NOTS"

Got it...Novato.  I wonder if Pam Snider in Florida has received hers?  or Dennis Kleid in Hawaii?  Maybe Dennis' blew in on Hurricane Iselle???

JoAnn Garcia (Larson)

Oh, Dennis...Madame Pele for sure.

I got my "Memory Book" today here on Maui.  Wow, what a lot of very photogenic 65 years olds.  But my-o-my, that Jean Woodliff, OMGoodnes!  how many grades did she skip?

Gads, I can't believe that the Memory Book can make it to Hawaii, but it can't make it to lil' ol' Fairfield, just 50 miles away from Sacramento.  Still waiting!

My memory book finally made it to San Jose.  It was a little worst-for-wear.  The corners are bent and it looks like it was also folded in half.

Charlene (Cissy) Taylor (Brazil)

I hear what you are saying. I thought the covers - front and back - would be more substantial. It's like a soft magazine. Looks to tear easily. I squeezed mine between folders in my computer hutch so it would bend too much.

Brian O'Hara

Diane, it's worst than you thought, because Google says it's 43.8 miles, from the photographer's front door to yours.
