After High School, I went to the J.C., took a year off afterwards, then went to Sonoma State receiving my BA in Psychology. I married my husband in July of 1973 and moved to Vacaville, My husband worked in Rodeo and wanted to live closer to work, so in 1988, we moved to Fairfield. At the age of 40, when our son, our youngest started First Grade, I went back to school earning a Teaching Credential. I worked as a Sub for 10 years, working in all 3 local Districts teaching ALL Subjects, while earning my Credential. Finally, earning my Credential, I worked for the 15 years. After retiring, I wanted to find a different type of work. I had hoped to be a Proofreader, but these jobs are hard to come by, instead I worked for Sylvan teaching afterschool Reading, Suisun Preschool, Fairfield Community Library, and Glen Cove Farm, a really sweet Gift Store in Benicia. I really enjoyed these jobs, especially, the Library and Glen Cove Farm (never having worked in Retail before). Now, during this Pandemic I have been helping my granddaugters with their Online Learning.
School Story

I was the School Mascot called Wee-Sock-Um for both years. While at school, I involved myself in the activities;eg: Winter and Spring Shows and Hall Decrations.
At the J.C. I was in some Musicials; eg: "The Music Man" and "Kiss Me Kate".
I, also, bowl a Perfect Score of 300 in P.E. class. After school, in my Retired years, I had the opportunity to travel to Scotland, Wales, and London, singing with the newly-formed Napa High Alumni Choir!

For those of you, who knew Dennis Pallet, I am here to notify you that Dennis died on this past Thanksgiving, November 28, 2024. His wife, Joan, preceded him in death. My source did not know if he graduated, but he would have graduated with our class. I had Dennis in my Elementary classes at Pueblo Vista. My older brother would go to his court and play football with Tommy Marco and Tommy Davis and Dennis, although younger than the Tommys and my brother played with them. Dennis turned his life around and became very Religious.
