I went to UCLA and Sacramento State, where I earned a teaching credential. I married Ron in 1969. We moved to Woodland from Davis in 1976 where we have lived since. I stayed home and raised our children until Michelle was in middle school. I then worked as a teacher in the Woodland school district until June of 2013. I retired this past June. I taught kindergarten, a 2/3 combo class, 3rd grade, and my last 6 years as a 2nd grade teacher. Ron passed away October 18, 2013 from complications of leukemia. I have returned to the classroom as an intervention teacher half time. I no longer teach interventions. I am now giving the CELDT test and acting as the general Ed teacher at iep's. Most mornings I am at the dog park with my golden retriever, Marnie.
