I believe it's the Prom, Dave!  Dave Aitken was a very good friend of mine, especially at J.C.  Very nice person AND BOY could he play cards, especially Hearts.  He knew how to count them and knew what everyone had in their hand.  What a gift.  Would have loved to go to the casinos with him.  GREAT GUY!

Hi All, yes, back from frozen tundra, made it through Russia across the Arctic circle, to 25 below freezing hell.here I am in my space suit in middle of a fiord in freakin Norway vowing to Never go ice fishing again, nor dog sledding.  Actually this crab--a misnomer since they have too many legs to be in the crab family--was quite tasty.

Jerry,

You are right, they were both majorettes.  Didn't recognized them at first, but I recognize the name.

Jerry,

I thought you were conscientiously focusing on your music & your instrument (trumpet) during band class.  Now I find you were focused on the majorettes!  The things you learn about people half a century later.....

Did the majorettes know?

Does your wife know?

Does your brother know?

Jerry, you were always so confused about these things.....focusing isn't speaking!!

All this talk about the majorettes made me remember why I liked band.

The majorettes in the prom picture are Pam Thompson and Donna Jensen.  Very sweet girls.  They looked so beautiful in their prom dresses.  I got to know them well and enjoyed twirly with them.

Hi All,

Becky Burris was wondering if anyone knew anything re: the circumstances surrounding the death of Wolfgang Dehne.  If so, could you please respond to her?  And let the rest of us know as well?

Thanks.

I am also very curious about Wolfgang - I had the opportunity to visit him in his hometown the year after graduation, along with a fellow student from my school in Switzerland. Wolfgang was a fantastic host and such a very nice man! I was sorry to hear about his passing.

Jane, sounds great.  We didn't get to chat much @ Del's.  Glad you liked the pix from my cheapo throw-away camera.

Wow!  We've just found a new use for this site -- as a dating service!!  Hubba hubba.  We could get rich!!!

lol  Bruce, NEVER would attempt to intrude on the MEN'S Luncheon, but you know, with your statement you could get a few of us women with Alzheimer's OR Dementia coming to your luncheons.  Afterall, we wouldn't even know where we were.  ;)

Ah Diane, my dear, do I sense a little jealousy?  See, you're already thinking of it as a luncheon.  Girls just wanna have lunch.  It's a breakfast!!  Gotta get up, dressed & beautified in time for breakfast!!

Talk with Guadagni -- he's the chauvanist who set up the VERY SUCCESSFUL men's gatherings.

Dave, one of my first jobs was at the Napa Register photo department next to the ad guys. They were crazy!!
the first time I saw Mad Men I thought of you, and remembered how creative those guys were. great profession choice on your part!
