DOBBELS, Tammy Lee 47, of New Carlisle, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born on October 7, 1970, in Springfield, the daughter of Daniel Lee and the late Janet Marie Davis. Tammy is survived by her father; husband, Tony Dobbels; sister, Danette (Steven) Brown; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Hillary) Preston, Jacqlyn (Brett) Massie, Britani Broils, Ayla Brown, Autumn Brown, James, Jacob and Josh Dobbels, Daniel and Mallory Pronschinske, Gavin Dobbels and Nick and Alyssa Damato; great nephews, Gabriel Massie and Bentley Broils; aunts and uncles, Beverly (Richard) Downing, Bernice (Terry) Morgan, Annetta (Thomas) Davenport, Mark (Karen) Davis and Don (Janet) Henman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim and Carol Dobbels; brothers-in-law, Tom (Ann), Chris (Jenny) and Rick Dobbels; sisters-in-law, Coni (Chad) Pronschinske and Beth Dobbels; grandfather-in-law, Lawrence DeSplinter; and special friends, Susan Ward and Melissa McFarland. Tammy graduated from Wilmington College with her Bachelors of Science and Southern Illinois University with her Masters in Agriculture. She loved gardening, cooking, being outdoors, mentoring young people and playing with her nieces and nephews. She cherished her family and was deeply loved in return by them. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5-7p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER. Memorial donations may be made to the Wilmington College where a scholarship will be set up in Tammy's name for women in agriculture.
