Suzanne, I think it is a place on the Website where those who go into the website can visit and answer any notes that are there like yours. I don't think it sends a message back to you via email. Let me know if you get this via email.

Dear Gay,

I have had lots to do and this is my first chance to put my feet up!! OH, that feels good! I spent yesterday with Mom, she was hanging on my every word! Since then, I've remembered more stories she will enjoy!

The weekend was just a dream. As Beth said, you think about it for so long and it is over so fast! We were thrilled with the events and can never thank you enough for all of your creativity, dedication and hard work.

I forgot to thank your ( very young looking ) husband for sharing you!!!! Please pass on my appreciation!

You and I passed like ships in the night, we were never in the same part of the room! Five years from now (God willing) I'll target you for a visit!

xox,

Suzanne

Hi Classmates...I just want to tell each of you how much I enjoyed chatting with you. Fifty years is a long time to cover in one night, but I think we all made a valiant effot.

To Gay and the committee, many, many thanks. Each of you so willingly gave your time and talent to make the evenings so very special for all of us. I really missed being a part of the committee (as I have been in the past), but the distance was just too great for this one. You all did a fabulous job.

Visiting with everyone made the years simply disappear. I am so glad that I was able to share with all of you. Please remember to give me a call the next time you come to Vegas. I go to the Strip quite regularly and would be delighted to meet you.

Thanks again....Diana Shaw Huff

This post is really an experiment & I love experiments...  This Forum has not been used since October 2009 which means it is either worthless or moribund.  So I will repost my earlier query on the Message Forum to see if it is stuck in a time warp or what & to see whether you'all are doing OK in SARS-Cov-2 pandemic time:

"I have been meaning for some time to take an informal poll of the Class of '59 to see how you'all are fairing and responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. A note from John Hrycyk has moved me off dead center, so here goes. We seem like a reasonable sample of 'elderly' - damn I hate that word - folks all at reasonable risk. Our small Island in the Pacific Northwest is a ferry ride away from Seattle, but we have only had four cases and no deaths. Lydia and I socially distance when in public and do wear masks. Worst part has not being able to give my daughter a hug when we visit! Quarantine has not been a major problem. How about you'all - any problems? Perhaps our next reunion should be a giant Zoom call. Stay well."

This prompted 7 responses...I presume the rest of the Class has not been done in by Covid-19.

Hugs to all - jb

Hello everyone!

Hope you all are well, although I'm sure that's not true of everyone. Especially after almost 2 years of COVID.  Heartfelt sympathy goes out to Rowena's family. What a nice person she was. Thank you Gay for keeping us all informed of our classmates.

Betsy

'59 Classmates,

I concede to not spending much time on this website, but once a year Herb Smith reminds me I am getting older and Dick and Irene Liposky have a wedding anniversary - so... This means I get to remember that our 50th Reunion was in 2009 - and, more importantly, calculate that our 65th Reunion would be next year - 2024 !!

So, are there enough of the Class of '59 still upright, mobile and spry enough to gather??

Hope you all have weathered the pandemic and are doing well.
