Grade school:
I was a new student in the 4th grade and Mary Beth was asked to help me get settled. She is still a dear friend and we stay in touch!
When we finished our work, in Miss Barbara Waite’s class, she let us paint the inside of the windows. She taped designs on the outside of the huge tilting windows, and we'd carefully apply tempra paint on the glass. It was fun and the room was gorgeous!

Junior High:
I loved sledding on Furnace Hill with Dick and Herb. I had my uncle’s Flexible Flyer, my grandfather waxed the rails and that sled flew down the hill. It is amazing that no one got hurt.

Mom lived to be 100 and she still had all her marbles! She was always such a happy person.
In 2016, Dan and I were the last members of our family to move to WA. We live between Seattle and Bellevue, and the speed limit on our island is 35 mph. My
goal in life is not to get a speeding ticket!
We have 11 in our immediate family, and it is fun to see the progress of all of the kids. Life is good! 🌷
