Mike Warner

Worked at Boeing in Wichita after graduation. Joined the USAF and had a 20-year career as a medical technician, including 7 years as an aeromedical evacuation technician. Graduated from the University of Maryland, University College with a baccalaureate degree in 1993. Have lived in Maryland since 1990. Have been married to Diane since 1979. Have 6 grandchildren. After the failed Iranian hostage rescue in 1981, was part of the aeromedical evacuation crew that returned survivors of the desert crash to the burn unit at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Later that year, was selected as one of two representatives of the medical personnel to attend a Pentagon meeting with President Jimmy Carter who expressed his thanks and gratitude to all military personnel who contributed to the effort. Met President Carter and shook his hand.
