Diane was a dear friend. She lived not far from my home and we were friends outside of school. She had a way of brightening my life and we always had a wonderful time together. Unfortunately we were not in any classes together and after graduation from high school, we did not stay in touch. I am deeply saddened to think that Diane lost her life at such a young age. I feel so fortunate to have enjoyed her friendship.
