I hear you Sam. The worry thing is a young person’s game!

And to think back about all the silly things we worried about!

lets start a list. I will start.

Impressing people with the latest fashions.

Cool cars.

Fear of looking silly while dancing.

Worried about prom dates,

Feel free to add to this list!

John and Sam,  Are you saying Alfred E Newman had it right all along?

Great post Rocky!

I can remember reading Mad magazines for hours on rainy days!

Another good rainy day outing was a double feature with door prizes at the Hollywood! 50 cents paid for admission and popcorn!

Ditto on the great post Rocky!  HS in the 60's was always such a riotous rush of awesome adventures to occupy ourselves with that I guess you could call me Arthur E, but there was always this disquieting little guy in my subconscious that knew I had no real idea what I would do to make a living as an adult....and that those days and maybe VietNam were coming.  They came, the 'Nam' didn't, they're still coming and I just enjoy the heck out of being a grandmpa!

This forum is a nice reminder of all that we did together and how, in those young adult days, we touched one another's lives, in both big and simple passing ways. Pretty much though, we were consistent in respecting one another!

Remember winters like this in the old days?

Wish I could forget!

Mark and Michelle,

I'm very sorry to hear about Tony. As you know, he was a longtime friend of my brother...but also to me. I had many, many laughs with Tony over the years. He was just a great guy! I know your entire family will miss him.

Mark and Michele,

I am so sorry for your loss.  I met Tony way back when we were all good friends with Wayne Joss. I have many fond memories of "T. Cordone ".   He always called me Ratnour, never by my first name.  He was a great guy and so much fun!!   All the best to you and your family.

Mark and Michelle, so sorry to hear about Tony.  He was a great guy and always friendly to those around him.  I remember talking with him at the billiards room in Mattydale by Strike and Spare.  Nobody could beat Tony!!  He will be missed by many.  So sorry once again.

So sorry to hear about the Gelsomins.

Condolences and prayers to the families.

Sweetheart Market was such a landmark.

Linda and Chuck have made their mark on the community as well!

Another shock this week was the fact that Borios is for sale!

Also Hinerwadels is for sale!

Hopefully the reunion can still take place at Borios!

However, I am hoping Chuck, Marty and Amy can finally retire!

They deserve it!

I have been looking for Rhonda Rasar for years.  Is anyone in touch with her who would not mind sharing her information with me? She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and I lost touch with her years ago. Thanks for any help!  Kim (Lambert) Annese

Hello to all, I haven't been in touch for a long while. I'm looking forward to the 50th reunion but I don't seem to find much information or conversation here on the forum. Please send me in the right direction. I moved to Virginia in 2015 and moved my dad down the same year.  Dad, Dick Green, died on August 20th and was cremated. I am hoping to head north for the reunion next year and inter his ashes next to my mother in Woodlawn Cemetery. Looking forward to talking with everyone. I can be reached through the forum or by email, javabean7052@gmail.com Thanks, Deb (Green) Wilcox

After considering several options and dates for our 50th Reunion it is going to be held September 26th 2020. So save the date. We are going back to Borio’s! I have been assured that our date will be honored no matter what happens with their ownership. Hope everyone agrees that the past reunions there have worked out great. We will have same room with the outside patio and maybe great early fall weather! More details to follow. Stay tuned!

Cool beans!  Thanks John!  Borio cousin Tony, who runs the kitchen, has also had a long run at it. NO WORRIES....

The fall colors are just slipping down through CNY, but then late September 2020 could easily turn out to be a great time to cruise north a couple hours and enjoy them in the Adirondacks for a few days.  This Syracuse autumn continues to be a perfect mix of colors, weather and thermals....

I was thinking it might be fun to organize a get together with other classes the Friday night before the Borio’s get together. We all had good friends that were older and younger than us. Be great to see them as well. Thoughts?

Is anyone interested in touring the schools or possibly attending a game. It will be football season and the stadium is very nice. If there is enough interest I will work on it with the alumni liaison from the district.
