I remember Steve from Emerson. I was on "Patrole" and he was out there many days. He joked with the younger students and they always liked it. I remember him as a quiet guy but very nice. I do remember that he got sick in freshman year or maybe earlier. But when I heard that he had passed away I remember that a great young man was taken way to early. That was an experience of loss for those who knew him and a hard lesson way to early for all of us to learn. You are not forgotten Steve.
Steve and I met on the swim team and became friends. I remember he would moiss school and I wuld go by his home to check on him, then he'd be back ready to go. I don't think he ever let on just how devastating the Leukemia was. I am glad I got to know him for a short time.

Well said Cynthia... I remember Steve as a nice boy also, and was affected by his loss.
