Was married Mike Brodersen. Became a mom & lived first in Norfolk, VA. Move back to Omaha, still doing the mom thing. We moved to Topeka, I was still doing the mom thing. Moved to Junction City, KS. still doing the mom thing. Moved to Manhattan, still doing the mom thing while Mike chose to go to Kansas State University. I started a Day Care in my home & care for close to 100 children over the course of nearly 14 years. I decided that I wanted enter the work force with adults. I started working as a Custodian at Kansas State University. Did that for about 6 years, & took the computer courses at the end of the 6 years. I ended up working in the office of the English Dept., then the English Language Dept. & then going back to Custodial. I retired after 14 years at Kansas State University. During that time I took a few classes & totally enjoyed school.

First of all, I absolutely loved going to Technical High School, from 7th grade to graduating from high school. Being originally from a very small town, Tech gave me such a wide variety of people & activities that I would of never had in that small town.

Worked at Northwestern Bell as an Information Operator. Then I got married, had my children & began my journey through life.

Since I'm retired, I do whatever I can afford to do. I'm still an avid reader & am now working through the "top 100 books one should read before one dies." No, I'm not gonna read all of them but I gonna give it a good try.

I own two tarantulas. I've tandum jumped from an airplane, flown in a hot air balloon. Sometimes I can even answer something on Jeopardy that even the champs can't answer . . . but not very often!

There was a time after a football game when the band got back to Tech early. Some kids & I went riding around, taking us girl's scarves & then wrapped them around car mirrors. The driver took off real fast & the mirror would get pulled of the car. I took one home as a souvenir & managed to convince my mom that I just found it.
