What have you been up to since you graduated?

*Gave birth to my son in 1991 (he's an accomplished musician - bassoon, bag pipes, guitar -and graduate. c/o '09!)

* Graduated from University of Washington in '94
(Double B.A. in Broadcast Communications & American Ethnic studies. Phi Beta Kappa, Mortar Board Honor Society, Cum Laude, President's Award recipient).

* Got first job as tv news writer/producer at NBC affiliate in Seattle (KING5-TV).

*Spent 2 years in Portland/Seattle at N.W.C.N. 24 hour Cable News Network ('96-'98)

* Spent 3 years at NBC affiliate in Albuequerque, New Mexico (KOB-TV) - '99 to '02

*Moved back to Seattle to become Reporter/Anchor at FOX affiliate in Seattle (Q13FOX News/KCPQ-TV) - '02 to present.

* Founded "Dessert Anyone? Handcrafted Novelty Candles" in 2004.

* Nominated one of University of Washington's "40 Under 40 To Watch" in 2009.

What are your memories of high school (i.e. secret crush, embarrassing moment, funniest thing you did in high school, favorite high school hang out, favorite teachers)?

The band room, Mr. Zweers class, Rockin' Out with the JMHS Marching Band, Turkey Tussle, Mrs. Toh's English class (where I learned to love writing), Mr. Stellern's AP Biology class, taco snacks (saw that on another entry - TOTALLY dug those!)

* Playing competitive softball
* Making candles that look and smell like desserts -YUM! (dessertanyonecandles.com)
* Love to cook
* Relaxing (a requirement when you wake up at 1:30a.m. to deliver the morning news. OUCH!)
* Give the occasional flute lesson
