Just found out online that Gayle Lensing Rimerman passed away March 12, 2021, in Calistoga, CA. I knew Gayle since 4th grade and was in Girl Scouts with her. I'll always remember how she helped me with multiplication and division when I transferred schools and the new 4th grade class was way ahead of my old class in math! She was smart and always sweet and fun. RIP Gayle.
Happy birthday, fellow Virgo!
Happy birthday, Robin! I know it's two days past mine! Hope you have a great day!
I'm retiring from teaching in June, too! I hope you'll come celebrate with us at the 50th! I sure enjoyed seeing you last summer! We'll always remember "Hello Mudda, hello Fadda!"
Proof she is alive and well !
I remember meeting Jim when I transferred to Webster Elementary in the 4th grade. I was amused by his Southern drawl which reminded me of my midwest cousins. He was always a nice boy to me and very respectful. Rest in peace, Jim.
Sue was one of my neighborhood friends when I lived on Calaveras St. in my Burbank Elementary days. We were both Susan Elizabeths and our mothers were both Elizabeths. We spent many an afternoon at one another's houses! She passed way too young!
So sorry it was a typo! RIP Chris Maggio. I remember him as being a really fun guy.
The website named posts an article written May 7, 2016, saying the helicopter pilot named Christopher Maggio was 59 years old. Something doesn't add up here!
I reconnected with Mel at our 20th reunion. He lived in Boca Raton, FLA with his wife and daughter. We kept in touch via Christmas cards for years. He enjoyed his family and traveling and always extended an open invitation to visit Boca Raton! A few years ago, I got a card from his wife that he had passed. He was a sweet man.
I didn't know Jerry well during high school but enjoyed the camaraderie and exchange of barbs and witty banter with him as I got to know him at our mini-reunions in recent years. He helped to orchestrate the first few gatherings and remains the spirit behind them.
Johnny was my neighborhood friend growing up when I lived on Calaveras Street. We reconnected as buddies at PHS when he was a cheerleader, and then again, as fellow students at UCSB. He was always fun to be around. He passed tragically young.
Mary Jane was one of my first friends at Burbank Elementary. I loved her beautiful, red, curly hair! We played at each other's homes after school. I got to know her again as adults at Pasadena Nazarene Church in Hastings Ranch.
