Let's do it again! I had so much fun. Thank you all for being my friends.

I have not read the memory book cover to cover, but they are so well done. Thank you, Juanita!

Who wants to go on a cruise next year? Wouldn't that be fun for all of us to go together?

Now I have read the memory book just about cover to cover. Wow! Makes me want to hug each of your necks! Your families are beautiful. It is striking that most of us say the most important things in life are God, family, and friends. I wish more friends had been with us this weekend and hope we can do it again soon.

I am so glad you liked the books. I wish we could have gotten everyone's updated profiles for the book. Hopefully we can get more and more classmates involved.

Oh my goodness...what anawesome time we had! The reunion was SO nice! I want to thank those of you that planned the reunion for your hard work, and the memory books are awesome! I hope we don't wait 5 years before we all get together again. It was good to see everybody...especially those that I hadn't seen in 32 years!! I saw Pam this morning and the first thing we started talking about was the reunion. We want to do this thing again really soon! It was such a good time of talking, laughing, sharing, and even crying! I love you all and hope to see you again real soon! Love to all-Amy PS-Kim Carter Bennett wanted me to be sure you all know that she WAS NOT the one that slapped my butt!:D

Hello everyone..."Missing it" would be the title of my life story!(usually because I am always running my mouth when I need to be listening) I just wanted to say that if I did or said anything at the reunion that caused any kind of confusion or made anyone feel less than the wonderful, smart, and beautiful people we all are, I am so sorry! That was certainly not my intentions at all! Any comments, stories, or conversation that came from me were all made in love and fun. If anthing I said caused pain, offense, or shock to anyone, I am honestly, deeply sorry. I loved the reunion, and enjoyed every moment of the time I spent with each one of you. Thanks to all that worked so hard planning this meeting, and for all that attended...I love you all-Amy
Shirley Rose...go ahead and book the ship...I'm ready! Love ya!

Carl, that sounds good, too! Maybe roast some oysters, build a fire, catch a bass, set a trot-line, catch fireflies, sleep on a sandbar, gosh...my "country" genes are kickin' in! Shirley Rose...this pond trip is sounding pretty good...you better get a really good deal with the ship...

10/02/09 02:07 PM #91

Shirley Rose Neugent (Glisson)

I'm thinking we may all need to go with Carl. I can't find a cruise less than 4-5 days and there's not a port in Brunswick! The Kirkland pond trip sounds like lots of fun. You said oysters? Really? in south Georgia?

You better believe it! Oysters, hot sauce, and saltine crackers! Yummy!

Any where we met up we'll have lots of fun. Aways have aways will.Because you can't change being a SR. of 79.C.W.W. Also that pond is so beautiful.Sorry for the miss spelling I don't have my brother Lonnie Neal to cheat off of. I did't take typeing either. Carl.

I agree Carl, this group can have fun anywhere at anytime! Just being able to get together means a lot. Life if so short, we need to enjoy it and our FRIENDS to the fullest!!!! Maybe we could set some hooks at the Kirkland pond!! don't forget the vienna sausuage and "light bread"!!

WOW! Sound like I missed a lot! I do wish I could have been there, I have been soooo out of touch and so many thoughts have been comming back to me since August. We just got back from Germany, they are officially out of beer and brautwurst now. Will get some pics posted soon, had 2,163 photos from last week.

10/05/09 07:51 PM #96

Tammy Guthrie (Altman)

Wow! Forrest...your tired from taking pics. HaHa...and I thought I loved pictures. Can't wait to see some of them. We did have an awesome time, and I'm sorry you missed it, but next time... for sure!!! How bout those sardines and saltine crackers? Marsha...we could surely make a meal from your idea and mine! ;D Kirkland Pond, Lakewood Lane, Cruise...either works for me. I just really had so much fun seeing everyone. I loved the BUZZ BUZZ when we all got to the social hall. There was so much excitement in the air. I just wished we had been able to spend more time together. I just think we should do it more often!!

I think we need to put Carl in charge of our next get-together. Name the time--apparently we have chosen the place!

Carl Wood

I've never been in charge of anything 'just ask my wife maybe making sure our four legged child has plently of water or food. Just joking. She will kill me when she reads this.Maybe not. But really if we could get Neil Dillingham involed his mom and dad live on the pond and they have a social hall right there. But talking about being RED NECKED that we would be.Wait Iam red necked.I spend alot of time out there but it's on the pond not around thier place. But I have a flintstone type camper right there on the coast line or you could call it the bank.I KNOW ya'll remember what Fred Flintstones camper looked like.It was full with Fred Wilma and Pebels in it.So we might have to do like they did it at WOODSTOCK. Now theres an ideal.I can see it now.I can't wait another five years....LOVE YA'LL C.W.W.

Ok guys this is the deal! But first, Tammy I’ve called the school, your husband, the IRS, CIA, FBI and AARP and I still can’t get you to return my calls. However I found a number for Kim and left a message for David to return MY CALL. ( just kidding Tammy)
I’ve talked to Bryant Lott, Lon Gillis and Steven Tanner and we are going to get together before the next reunion and learn 25 to 30 of the old songs that were popular in the late 70’s early 80’s and maybe have a little dance that night. We would also like for some of ya’ll to thank of some songs that you would like to sing, We would be glad to learn these songs and back ya’ll up.

PS!
It is nearly midnight and I have been to Atlanta and back today so if there is any bad grammar or misspelled words please get over it.
Love Ya’ll

I'm in! Michael, that is an AWESOME idea! Carl, I think the pond is the place! The Flintstone camper sounds fine to me. When?

10/07/09 08:57 AM #102

Amy Tanner

Michael-you guys HAVE to play "Sweet Home Alabama"....it's the southern anthem down here! I love your idea, and we don't have to wait for another reunion...anytime will do! When you think you guys have had enough practice, post it on the message forum and we'll make plans. Carl....you are such a smart man for thinking of this pond thing! Love to all...

Michael...I would have thought since you are my step-daddy... you would have known how to get in touch with me. HaHa...You are just hilarious!!! I know you made my mama's day...you sure tickled me...Great to laugh!!

Anyway Sir...912=422-3230 is the home phone...
the cell is 912-381-5932...
That sounds like a wonderful plan for the band to strike it up. I'm sure there are plenty of us that would like to sing. Do you all remember when we went to State Beta Club Convention and you guys played in the band, and us girls all sang "Fire" Fire" It was great.

Oh yeah...who is counting the misspelled words, correct grammar, etc... on here? That is only looked at in the classroom, right...Wright and Wood? HaHa
Love you all. It was great seeing you all, and I don't want to wait 5 years either.
