No fun intentded, well maybe a little. But if ya,ll play 25 to 30 songs in one night we may have to have the ambulance handy at our age? But before you pass out I want to hear knocking on HEAVENS door. That used to sound good at the RAT HOLE.But anything sounded good to me in the state of MIND that I stayed in back then. And it wasn,t David,s or Mark,s fault.I sowed my own seeds. With love C.W.W.

sounds like this "pond" thing is gaining momentum. Do I need to order some cigars? What about some scotch. Got 2 cases of wine from Germany here also, sweet & dry. I would love to have sardines and crackers since my wife wont let me eat them inside. And I cant eat them outside either, the cats keep bothering me. I will have to bring an air mattress, too old for that sleeping on the ground thing.

HA! Every one, good to see every one is still posting and staying in touch. Just got back from Atlanta again, will be in Covington Tuesday & Wednesday, but will be in Douglas, Pearson & Nashville Thursday Fixing some Internet Remote printing problems for Guthrie Motors. ( I am a busy man, But I am not complaining cause it could be the other way around!! )

Carl you are right, I was thinking how many songs it would take to play for 2 ½ to 3 hours, But Bryant’s wife Lana Should be there, she’ll take care of us.

I know a lot of our classmates read this forum but do not post! We need ya’ll to login if but only to say Hi!

Charlton I hope you read this, we would like for you to play 2 or 3 songs with us.
For those how did not know. Charlton was the original HT drummer.

Tammy we will need a good 3 to 4 months notice to put this together!
Also our class has sent flowers to Mr. Scarborough and Mrs. Kirkland Please let us know if we need to replenish the flower fund. I for one love this idea and would like to keep doing it. And I’m sure the entire class would love to contribute!

Sherry Tucker (Haskins)

You are right, Michael. I remember having Mrs. Kirkland in the 8th grade. She scared me to death everyday, but she was a great teacher.

I DIDN"T know that Charlton was the original HT drummer! You should join up then, Charlton, my birthday-buddy!

And another thing Michael's right about: say hello when you log in!

Hi Everyone,
I agree with Michael about lets keep the flower fund going. I think it important to show we care as a group as well as individually.

Loved seeing everyone at the reunion and please fill out our survey if you have not done so yet.

Michael I figured it out. Since I've turned my life around. We gospel singers can give the rock band a break while ya'll catch your breath. And for you Linda have you ever seen a red neck without ANY protection? I imajine between BIG C and me being called THE BLUD can handle the securety.... WITH LOVE ALWAYS .Besides we are talking about a fish pond not a hog farm.L.O.L. BIG C. being Charltonio for those of you that might not know his RED NECK name. PEACE AND LOVE C.W.W........

Tammy Guthrie (Altman)

Hey Everyone,
I love reading the chatter between us all. Makes me smile for sure. As far as the flower fund, I believe it is fine right now. Meg was going to write a final check (a offering to the Union Hill Church) for the building. They did not charge the class, but I talked with some of the class members and they felt, along with myself, that we should give an offering for the use of their building, air conditioner, etc.

I will get with her this week, and post a treasurer's report. Then we can all see where we are, and when we may need to add to the flower fund. I believe all is well right now.

I sent a large grapevine wreath with silk magnolias for Mrs. Kirkland with a large ribbon that said, "Class of 1979". I remember putting something really sweet on the ribbon for Mr. Lankford, but my mind was just blank when I ordered Mrs. Kirkland's. (probably from all the prepositions, definitions, sentences, parts of speech) floating around. :D She would be proud. HaHa

Big C...how did I miss you were the original drummer??? Guess I was just so scared singing "Paper Roses" in front of the Junior High students. You have to drum Charlton.

I know Marsha also plays the guitar. She played when she and I sang "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" (I think that is the name) at a Tri-Hi-Y Convention. Get ready Marsha!!

Michael, Carl, Kim, Shirley, Juanita...Sounds great to me! I love music and singing. Just say "When"...

Sherry...I got a hug from a good-looking silver head man at Mrs. Kirkland's funeral. (It wasn't Charles even though he would fit this description) haha MiM

Sorry guys and gals The KIRKLAND POND is out'I'm so sorry but the owners said that there INSURNCE wouldn't allow such a gathering. If someone could get NEIL Dillingham involed there might be a chance of having it on their side of the proprtiey.Or if some of you girls know Kay and George good enough they might let us get together at there dock.I'm sorry that I started something that I couldn't come through with. Just by me being a smart alegg ABOUT NOT being able to afford the cruise. But let's not give up there are other places this is a big world. I feel so bad about all the excitment that I got stired up and not being able to pull it off! We will get together somewhere even if we have to rent the RAT HOLE from ROACH CARTWRIGHT I think he still owns it. But there is nowhere like the great outdoors!!!I can't say how sorry I am for opening my BIG MOUTH without thinking first I'm sorry Ifeel as if I have let my BEST FRIENDS down. But we will find a place somewhere somehow. Again I'm sorry but I'm sorry with ALL MY LOVE C.W.W.

There will always be my place on lake seminole availabe and everyone is more than welcome. Plenty of room outside and plenty of bathrooms inside (I know how us old folks are) and plenty of firewodd. It would be a 100+ mile drive for most of you though. Overnighters welcome, I have several spare air mattresses and plenty of room for them. And if anyone wants to, they can climb the wind mill. Can also accomodate two campers in the RV port (elec, water & sewer) and one camper( elec & water) by the lake.
