Classmates,
I am pleased to announce that the Class of 1978 is hosting a Cookout on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 3 pm to 11 pm at the VFW Post 803 in Clairton, PA
The address of VFW Post 803 is 911 North State Street, Clairton, PA, Pennsylvania 15025
The cookout includes:
A private Club
Private Room just for our social,
Outdoor Picnic Area including a grill and fire pit,
Games including corn hole, darts, and pool table
Free parking,
Cash Bar, and
The following cookout food items: hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on cob, kielbasa, and broccoli salad, potato salad, and homemade cookies.
Cost for the Cookout is: $20.00 per person
You can register and pay to attend by two methods.

The invite is for all BHS Class of 1978 classmates, plus one. Meaning you can bring your spouse, significant other, friend, or maybe a BHS graduate from another class. Please do not bring any guests under 21 years of age.
If you would like to donate a side dish, we are looking for the following items, veggie tray, fruit salad and/or fruit tray, snacks, desserts and condiments. So, we don’t get duplicates, if you are bringing a side dish, we would like you to send that information via a text message to Kim Charalambous at 412.760.6954. If you have any questions, please contact Kim, Debbie Weir, or me.
A special thanks goes to Ray Sobieralski for securing the venue and band.
We will put out a donation jar at the social, with all donations will go to the VFW Post 803 Veterans.
