Married-Divorced; run all over the country wasting a lot of time and money; finaly married had a girl and a boy; divorced again; have two grandsons and another one the way in July of 2013; done nothing in the past eighteen years but ride motorcycles, fly a little and work in the courtroom.
School Story

The one incident that I can remember very well is one Friday when Brenda Beard and I skipped pep rally. We were not together but I wouldn't have minded if we had been. I guess we just had the same notion on the same day. That was my only experience with Mr. Veach and his paddle. The choice was three days or three licks. Well, I was smart enough to know I was too dumb to miss three days so I took the three licks.

I grew up being called Willie by everyone except Ms. Joachim and Ms. Scribner. When I moved to northeast Arkansas for my job the judge I started with would not call me Willie (for reasons I will not comment on) and started calling me Bill. thus I am known in the judicial world as Bill. All my close friends and family still call me Willie. I was shy and thought of myself as being inferior I kept mostly to myself .during my three years there in Plainview. When my mother died in October of my Junior year I would have left school if it hadn't been for Ms. Scribner. What I am simply trying to say with all this rambling is it seems odd to be called William. So, just call me Willie.
