Robby PW

It is extremely hard for me to write this as I do this in sorrow and tears for a friend.  I knew Robby in the summer of our lives, early in our years. We were involved with many things together, our schooling from Black Horse Elementary to Highfield to PW. We went to the same church, sang in the same choir, were acolytes who lit the candles at the altar. I am so very sad at your passing, your suffering ended, however the celebration of this is that we return to our Lord and continue to serve. For us there is the reality of someone we love gone missing, no longer here to see, to communicate with, to share our lives. We need others to validate our own existence in the lives we share as living evidence of the Lords Mercy and Love. Sorrow and grieving are not unfamiliar to us as we traverse life, we are succinctly aware of our own time, it is part of life, yet painful. ‘And God shall wipe away all tears…and there shall be no more death’ (REV 21:4). When I think of Robby, I don’t think of his end but of his living and to the wonderful things he was to so many. He loved and was loved, how better to have lived. My prayers go out to Donna and the Rogers family that their burden of sorrow may be assuaged in the light of new life with our Lord.
