Carol died from diabetes complications. She lived in Provo and is survived by her husband Eric Tracy, and two children - Alan and Amy.
Carol Ann Hawkins Tracy, age 43, died on Saturday, November 29, 2003, at her home in Provo, Utah.
She was born in American Fork, Utah, on January 15, 1960, to Gordon West Hawkins and Julia Strasburg Hawkins.
Carol married Eric B. Tracy on April 10, 1987, in Provo, Utah.
She is survived by her husband; two children, Alan and Amy Tracy; her parents; one sister, Colleen of Provo; and two brothers, Michael, and Jeffrey (Kim), both of Provo.
The family expresses their thanks to the Bishop and Relief Society President of the Slate Canyon 1st Ward.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at 11 a.m., in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo.

Carol put up a great fight against her diabetes but it took such a toll on her body that it became such a painful chore at times. She struggled to be there for her family and pushed for them till the end. She was a true friend and cared very much for her family.
