Worked 41 years as a nurse. Retired and spent two years sailing with husband on our 43 ft sailboat. Started in Newport Oregon, down to sea of Cortez and sailed to Hawaii. Spent 13 months sailing around Hawaiian islands. Returned to the Pacific Northwest in 2017. Since that time we have traveled, played with 12 grandchildren, serving in the church and are enjoying life.

Virginia, it was enjoyable to read about your many adventurous travels. Way to go! Ruth and I lived back east for 30+ years and recently retired to Utah. We are quite enjoying being back "home". We both remember that when we got our Drivers Learners Permits, you already had your license....and you were "Brave" enough to be the licenced driver in the car with us as we practiced driving. I remember stalling our VW Beetle at a stop light on Cougar Ave. You were very patient with me! Thanks! George & Ruth
