After graduating with an MBA from BYU, Ruth and I moved our family to New York where I worked for IBM in Finance. We spent 35 living mainly in New York, North Carolina, and overseas working for IBM and Lenovo. My work career was in Financial Planning, CHQ Strategy, and Mergers & Acquisition. We spent 10 years on International Assignments in Paris France, Beijing PRC, Hong Kong, and Sao Paulo Brazil. I retired in 2016 and we moved back to Utah. We currently live in Cedar Hills Utah. We are glad to be home and we are immensely enjoying our retirement years! I have very much enjoyed living stress free without the looming requirement of a PowerPoint presentation required for first thing in the morning! Praise the Lord! We look forward to next year’s reunion and getting reacquainted with our fellow Bulldogs!

I remember some friends and I (probably Bob Floyd, Rick Cox, Paul Robertson), were eating a very “Pasty” lunch in the school cafeteria. We were commenting on how the mashed potatoes were so starchy they would make good glue. This gave us an idea to try a scientific experiment to test the potato's capabilities. We slathered some mashed potatoes on the bottom of a dinner roll, and stuck it to the bottom of the lunchroom table! We came back the next day to see if it was still stuck! It was. We laughed and snickered. We checked several more days….roll was still stuck on the bottom of the table. We soon lost interest and forgot about our “science experiment”. About 2 months later, we were in the cafeteria stacking tables on top of each other to make room for an Acapella Choir party. We suddenly heard a girl scream. We looked over and saw a green moldy glob still attached to the bottom of a recently overturned table. We looked at each other and thought “successful experiment”. Lunchroom mashed potatoes are definitely a super glue replacement!
