Hal was a good friend of mine. We made many beach trips together. He was always in a good mood and loved to have a good time. His daughters Kim and Jennifer always came first in his life. He suffered several strokes prior to his death.

Hal Glover was a true friend!  No matter how many years we hadn't seen each other, when we were reunited, he was always the same Hal.  He was always full of fun and we enjoyed many, many, fun and crazy times together.  Many of those events will not and should not ever be recorded because we did some pretty stupid and dangerous things when we were together.  Many tombstones I have seen record the message "GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN."  That describes my relationship with Hal so very well.  He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten in my heart.  A person is truly blessed in life if they have one or two great friends.  I have been fortunate to have had quite a few, but none any more special than William Hal Glover.  Rest in peace, my brother, I love you, and am so thankful you were a paret of my life!!!!!

Gary and Johnny I could not agree more with all the things you two have said about Hal. We spent many hours together after we left good old Enloe. We were in each other's weddings. Our kids played together. He came to the apartment Linda and I were living in with a big truck to help us move into our first house. We moved everything that night in the rain. What a friend. I left his bedside in intensive care at Rex Hospital knowing that I was likely not going to see him again. I feel blessed to have had  a friend so loyal. Gone but not forgotten.
