Of Valdosta, GA passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home. She was born on May 29, 1948 in Durham, NC. She worked as a manager at Payless Shoes for many years. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Bunko and Ruby Warrick.
Survivors Include: Husband of 44 years, Alvin E. Mooring of Valdosta, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Shannon E. & George Cabral of Cape Coral, FL; A number of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 11:00AM in New Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until service time at the church. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com. Trudy and I were in several classes together over a three year period at Enloe. She was always up beat with a smile and laugh that was unforgettable. She wrote almost a full page in my senior yearbook including " Never do anything you will be sorry for." She wished me "good luck" and may God be with you forever. We had a study hall with Mr. Cozart once a week and always managed to sit at the same table. We whispered in conversation and giggling about events we experienced during the week while keeping watch for a glance from Mr. Cozart. Little study was achieved but a good time, you bet. Because of her belief in Jesus Christ I know we will laugh again together.....one day. Thanks Trudy for being my friend.
