Norman Vincent "Vince" White, 67, of Raleigh died Sunday , June 28, 2015 in Raleigh. Vince was born January 31, 1948 in Jacksonville , Florida to the late Fred Vaughn White and Evelyn Hunnicutt White. Vince grew up and spent most of his life in Raleigh. He graduated from William G. Enloe High School in 1966 and attended Hardbarger Business College for several years. He worked for Rex Hospital , Carolina Surgical Supply, and for more than 20 years worked with HRF Inc. Specialty Plasma Center, retiring as Vice President.

Vince was full of life - he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and was an avid long-time Durham Bulls fan. He loved a good joke and had a gift of engaging everyone in his stories.

He is survived by his brother, Charlie White of Raleigh; his daughter, Tameka Cooper of Wendell; and a host of family and friends. He was known as Uncle Vince to many friends and thier children.

A reception will be held on Thursday, July 2 from 6-8 pm , with words of remembrance beginning at 7 pm in the Wynne Center of Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary's St., Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UNC-TV , the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
