Laurie Shilvock Havird

Mike and I have been married forever and we have resided in Mesa for the past 13 years. Mike graduated from SDSM&T and we moved to AZ for awhile and then to Seattle where we traveled around, fished, and enjoyed what Washington had to offer. We then moved to PA, where he continued with Boeing and I enjoyed being a mother, visiting museums, antiquing, etc. We left PA and moved back to where the weather was a lot warmer - AZ He still works for Boeing and is currently working on a new aircraft based out of Seattle.

As for me, I work on an Arabian Horse Farm, taking care of these gorgeous creatures and discovering my love for horses. We purchased an Arabian 4 years ago and we have done nothing but live and breathe horses and showing.

My kids keep me busy - Alex is a senior in high school with hopes of becoming an Orthodontist -yeah, right! and John is an aspiring baseball player seeking fame and fortune. My little Aaron is bringing up the baggage that the teenagers leave behind. We are very sports oriented and thus, that's our life. Go, go, go!!

Cruisin up and down 8th street with Karen and Jeanie Anderson and going to A&W for french fries and tartar sauce. Yum!! Also, piling all the drunk people into my car at Stratobowl after the you-know-whats!! I should have been the one to get a ride! I remember Kelly Tracy nailing me with a lead pencil, the likes of which are still embedded in my side. Thanks Kelly!! I'll sue you later!! Tom James passing out in front of my house in his cool blue Camaro (nice car) after a night of partying!! Those were the days!!

Thank you to the Cobbler Reunion Committee! You're doing a fabulous job! Keep up the good work! It's been totally amusing reading everyone's history! What a great site!
