Comments:
During my senior year I joined the 1085th Med Det (HA) with the SDNG. I served a total of 8 yrs. The last 3 as the NCOIC of the flight surgeons team. In 1986 I moved to Pheonix AZ were I did construction and entered into longterm healthcare. In 1999 I became certified as an activities director and also began teaching Activities for the state of South Dakota. In 2005 I left longterm healthcare and started my own business doing remodeling of homes. In 2007 I had a couple heart attacks and decided it was time to slow down from the 16 hour days we all love doing so well. I now am doing volunteer work with the Black Hills Center for Equality and am doing HIV testing and counseling for the greater Black Hills area. Well the volunteering just ended with a promotion to Director of Program Development. I now am responsible for grants and programs here at the center.
