When registering for the reunion you MUST put the number of people attending in the quantity slot then scroll to the bottom and pay for the dinner or golf or whatever.  I am sorry this is confusing a lot of you but if you haven't sent me a check or entered a CC# you don't have a reservation.  Please check your status.

Mr Eggers is now living at Tehama Estates on David Ave.  I visit him every few weeks.  What arrangements need to be made to invite a teacher?

Hi All,

I just stumbled across this great CNN story on 1974. According to the article, we had some of the worst songs of ALL TIME that year. The year wasn't all bad in that there some pretty good movies... and quite a few very nice people graduated from high school that year!

You can find the article here:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/21/showbiz/1974-terrible-music-great-movies/index.html?iref=allsearch

Here are the first few lines:

(CNN) -- We had joy. We had fun. We had loathing.

In 2006, this website conducted a highly unscientific survey to find the worst song of all time. One year stood out in its bad-song production: 1974.

That included two of the top five -- Terry Jacks' "Seasons in the Sun" and the runaway top choice, Paul Anka's "Having My Baby" -- and several more leading vote-getters, including Paper Lace's "The Night Chicago Died," Maria Muldaur's "Midnight at the Oasis" and Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods' "Billy, Don't Be a Hero."

A reminder: Anyone who had Mr. Luzzader for teacher at Bidwell--Some of us are meeting with him & his wife for breakfast at 9:30 saturday morning. RSVP to JoAnn Buntain Crow so there will be enough seating for us all. Mr. Luzzader had a heart attack and lost his memory, so we will be giving him the gift of some memories of his school-teaching days.

Also, after the breakfast, some of us Gals are going to visit shops on Main Street & around town before going on the tour of State Theatre. Let me know if you want to go along. My cell # is 916 494-1722  Not everyone will be going to breakfast so we will meet up at Hampton Inn.

Louisa Foss (Gilani)

Hi,

I got a few comments when I talked about my misrable highschool years, but I think that is in the past, and I just felt ok now to talk about it.  We have all gone through the valleys, and we are the better for them.

I am sorry we have lost some of the coolest classmates. Life is too short to not stay in touch. I realized that when a dear friend died of lung cancer recently. I suddenly realized I missed them more than I knew.

So, we get older, wiser, and filled with hope that our priorities are finally in order. I have repented of most every sin I could ever think of, but I am still working on myself.

I am sorry if I was not so friendly at times, as I was completely afraid of you. Hahah...

Anyway...I write little short films, and plays, and the theater along with my cute doggies keep me occupied.

Come visit anytime.

hugs.

Louisa

Happy Thanksgiving Friends!  It is time to renew the subscription to our class website.  Do any of you have comments on the website and how it is working for you?  Would love to hear some feedback.  Also please make sure you keep your info upto date on the site, especially email as that is how the site sends you info.  It was great to see you all this past summer and we will soon start planning the cruise for our 60th birthdays.  Would love some discussion on the cruise as well.  Have a great day!  I am thankful for each and every one of you.
