One thing Reddick had to have known in his life here on earth is that he was loved by so many for his friendship, big heart, that laugh ... and his great big smile. It hurts to know that someone so full of life is gone ~ Rest now Reddick. You will be missed.
Very sad news. Reddick, named the Class Comedian in the "Who's Who" section of our '67 Yearbook, was still our beloved and highly entertaining friend at the 50th Reunion Meet and Greet. His genuine smile and laughter remained a magnet for us all. God speed, Reddick Bibbs.
May that fabulous smile rain down upon us all and continue to brighten our day. We were all so lucky to have Reddick in our class of 67. May wonderful memories help his family
Reddick was such an awesome person. His personality was bigger than life. He will be missed by all that new him.
My sympathy to his family and friends. God gainied an awesome angel when Reddick got to those Golden Gates.
I was Blessed to meet Reddick (and his Dad as well) before senior year started. Rest well Reddick, you are missed...your smile and your humor we’ll not forget....
I was fortunate, "no blessed," to have met and gone to school with Reddick at Hoover Jr. and then though our years at Sequoia. He was always so full of life, joy, and good will. Now more then ever, we need as many "Bibbs" as we can get. Reddick will be well remembered... and he will be missed. R.I.P. good friend.
Reddick, who liked to be called “Red Dog”, was an amazing character. You could hear him coming a mile away with his loud voice and his infectious laugh! It was so sad to see him deteriorate as he was so energetic and positive in everything he did and with everyone he came in contact with. He made our little world at Sequoia much brighter. He was an awesome teammate on the basketball court. He was one of those “lunch pail” guys who came in, laced up his sneakers, and went to work. One of the main reasons we were so successful was because of the team attitude and effort that Reddick consistently demonstrated. He was an awesome encourager especially when things got a little rough.
I had the pleasure of staying in touch with him from long distance mainly through the contacts with my cousin Patty Cullen. Reddick worked for her at the coffee shop and he was so loved by the staff and patrons alike. Patty brought him up to Spokane for a visit a few years ago, and what a rich time of remembering the old days and laughing about the various escapades we were involved in! We golfed and I was quite impressed by his skill on the golf course. Of course, he was a very good athlete.
Very saddened to see this. My Husband Terry and Reddick played on the "C" team in 64, Reddick freshman year. It was nice to see all the wonderful comments of how his life brought so much joy to others. Dick Cullen, Terry says hi.
My mind's eye will always remember that outstanding smile and that wonderful laugh. May you rest in peace and always have plenty of hardwood flooring. I enjoyed being a team member playing basketball with you in our freshman and sophmore years.
