Joey was a lot of fun!  He had a great sense of humor and he was always very nice to me.  I really enjoyed him.  I was sorry to hear he died so young.

"Inky" was a good friend and we shared more than a few laughs.  In my second "geographical rerun" to Redwood City I found him by accident at this pizza place in San Carlos (somewhere around 1970) where I think he was a manager.  It was like I found a long lost relative!  We got to spend some time together off and on then I lost touch in yet another return to Washington State.  You are missed by many Joe....

We spent several years doing a lot of crazy stuff, most of which should remain private.  Inky was a good and loyal friend.  I enjoy reading from time to time the messages he left in my yearbooks and thinking back about those good ole high school days. .

Joe and I remained close friends until he passed away. I miss him every day. He became close friends with my husband and many of my San Luis Obispo friends.  My children adored him. Joey, I hope you are watching over us and I am counting on seeing you again. We still leave your empty chair at our poker games.

I didn't know Joe at all but in talking one day, telling him that I was planning to enter the priesthood, he was one of the very few that had any respect for me and am really sorry that he passed away so soon in life.
