Yeah, that's a tragedy Donna, I'm truly sorry to hear that, as well.
Death is a part of life unfortunately and the longer we live the more of it we will see as some others around us will not be as blessed as us. I have a buddy here in Kissimmee who just got diagnosed with colon cancer a couple weeks ago... Dan's gonna beat it though!
Just look back at our forum and see the unfairness..... Just ask Patti McCoy, me, and her good friends about Dee! Look at Jack fighting back! How about Lynn Morton losing her love, Greg, who 2 years ago went to work and never came home.... she can tell ya how tough it is as she's fighting through her loss! Many don't know but Doug Hood's bride ,Johnnie Kay, had a close encounter and is fighting back, too. There's Larry Mueller as he almost lost his love, Jeannette, in a freak event (and we were so happy to see them both smiling)! Try to figure out how Jack's son, Alan, deals with loosing his girl, Gina, ....we go off fishing and he thinks she's fine... we come home, she's gone! And our memory board .... way to many gone way to soon!
Like Jack says, gotta get the most out of every day! And us keeping in touch is one big help!
Life can be way, way unfair at times but we got to keep our feet moving and be thankful for what we got!
Can't bug out tonight without pointing to something that was big time unfair for 30 years and got real fair through our forum.... and that is Gary Teater going from being in our memories as gone from this world to being alive! .... and I don't think anyone was smiling more than he was every minute of our reunion!
