Windsor died on Feb 28, 1986 she was 20 years old. She
died of Toxic Shock Syndrome, she checked in the hospital
with flu like symptoms and a high fever and slowly her organs started shuting down. She was in her 3rd year at
Roanoke College and on the Deans list and a head cheerleader for the basketball team. She was so very full
of life and really enjoyed and excelled in college life.
She has been sadly missed and at times like these when
we are celebrating or 25th reunion the memory of her seems so much stonger. She was such a loving and giving friend and would do anything for you. One year I did not have enough money to buy a dress for the prom so I was not going to go. Well she wouldn't have that she told me
to come over and go through her closet and I could wear any dress she had. Well I went to the prom that year and it was all because of her. She was just that kind of friend and thats something to be remembered and honored.

In Loving Memory,

Windsor and I were close friends and she was such a joy to know. I lost my mother between our junior and senior years and she was very supportive of me and helped me adjust to the loss. We were planning to attend Roanoke College together and I lost the ability to go due to my mother's death. The class of 1987 at Roanoke College erected a memorial for her and I love to go by there and stop for a few minutes to remember her. It is a lovely shaded area where the students can take a break between classes. If you haven't seen it, you should go by there some time.

Windsor was the first girl I ever took on a car date. We went to the barn dinner theatre on airport road. Oklahoma was playing and I took my dad's company car. We had a great time, I was so nervous!
