Here is a post from the Roanoke Rampage Facebook page:

I am writing to let you know that the Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police Football team will be playing their last home game at Salem Stadium on April 24th, 2010 and we need everyone we can possibly have attend. This team plays in the National Public Safety Football League and will be playing the DC Generals on the 24th at 3pm. The goal of the league is to for professional firefighters/ems providers/police officers to play 'real' football against their others in the same profession while raising money for local charities. This years charity is Steps-4-Billy in honor of Battalion Chief William "Billy" Obenchain who passed away in December because of rare form of lymphoma called Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (e.g., CTCL).

This year there have been a lot of start up expenses for the team and we would like to give more than we have currently raised to the charity. We know there are lots of events going on throughout the Valley/region the same day so we are asking you to please consider attending April 24th's game....tell your friends, family and even your enemies to come on out for the game, WE NEED YOU! It will be a lot of good clean family entertainment and loads of fun. Tailgating is allowed before the game!

If you can't make it on Saturday.....there are other ways to give, April 21st Salem Red Sox will host Roanoke Rampage night at the baseball game, tickets purchased from Rampage players will go back to Rampage to use toward charitable giving. Also you can donate directly to Steps-4-Billy by sending funds directly to The Duke CTCL Fund C/O Dr. Elise Olsen (Steps 4 Billy) Box 3294 DUMC Durham, NC 27710

Hope to see you there!

You can text me, 6103016048, Jolee, Trina, etc etc for information where we'll meet up.  Planning on being there by 6.

Hope you can make it out.
