 I was about to text you Hot Stuff...I mean, Erik. And great minds think alike...I had thought of the slip-n-slide but would have NEVER thought of the baby oil. I guess because I burn so easy...so fragile. Don't forget the "lucky drawaz!" So glad you're coming...wouldn't be the same without you.

This even is casual, right?!?!? I mean....laid back...okay if you get squirted by a water hose casual?!

Yes casual dress...I will probably wear jeans or shorts or a sun dress.  It's going to be hot so keep that in mind.  I can't wait to see everyone and just hang out!!!  My dad is probably more excited everyone is coming!!!  So far Mr. Dyer will be here too!! He's looking forward to it as well.  He said to see "all his little kids"  He's so funny!!!

Wow...what a great cookout! Susie, you and your Dad are a team to be reckoned with! Thanks sooooo much for having a yard full of crazy Vikings at your home. I went home, took a shower....and walked the dog!! ...hee hee. So good to see everyone who was able to come out....to those who couldn't make it...we missed you as always and NO ONE laughed at the class picture that got passed around....PROM-ISE! Front row rocks!!!

Erik: I've been offered big money for the slip-n-slide pics but they will only pay out if the one of you in the leopard thong are included....hope that's ok. I will split the royalties.

Ok, like always, I again, had the best time of my life hanging with all of you...I'm so thankful for you guys making me feel that "welcome home" feeling.  I always dread the ride back to PA.  Of course the lack of sleep over 3 days doesn't help either.

Why is it that there's always a animal reference to what Erik is wearing? 

And nothing beats waking up with a glow stick bracelet on your wrist and zebra duct tape on my ankle to make you remember what a good time you had.  Who knew you actually need scissors to remove the duct tape?

The slip n slide was the best, good idea on the baby oil Erik..

Susie, thanks for being such a wonderful host.  I had an awesome time, not everyday you wear Mikes, nor can you be that sticky and have a handsome blonde try to kiss you open mouth...that was quite the highlight of my evening.  If only he was 38 years older.

Vikings....such fun everytime we get together!  I don't mind hosting another gathering this summer - we will definately get some dates together (I'm so not sitting by Vicky)!  Can't believe I paid my deposit for skydiving....so not worried about dying, but crapping my pants is another story!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pic of us girls laughing!!  It was how we spent the night!  Can't wait until our next lunch, dinner, drinks....whatever it is, lets get it planned!

We are a close class...soooo lucky in sooooo many ways. I am so thankful to have the '88 friends that I have. We have all gone in such different directions yet remained joined in so many ways...I guess I can give my mouth credit....can't help it...I guess it comes with taking care of cancer patients...I love life and I love people...especially those who support me no matter what and are always there for me...always. It's hard to explain our class to others...they just don't get it...and if you don't get it then you might as well give up trying to rationalize it...ya know? As for the skydiving...I'm with you Trina...that's why I'm not going to get any pics or videos taken...I'm afraid it would just be a big brown blob. Vicky, bring the wipes, ok? Johnny had a great time and was still talking about the attention his blonde bombshell on MY Harley got...I think it made his day. Guess I will have to find him the issue of Playboy with her in it...that would make his Christmas...ugghhh. I threw away his Farrah Fawcett Playboy issue when I moved in 15 years ago. I think he still has a voo doo doll of me for that one. Woops!

So sorry I missed such a fun event however I am sure you all appreciate that I kept my sickness to myself as I infected a couple of people at work and they were non-appreciative.....  I know you all had a grand time and I look forward to seeing you at the next outing....Happy 4th everyone! Please keep our sweet friend Stefanie Lugar and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she has lost her Grandfather. I can only hope when I become older and I am in a nursing home someone as funny and wonderful as Lugar will come to visit me as well. Her grandfather should be very proud of her love and dedication...

 

Paul Harvey Lugar, 85, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. He was a member of Southview United Methodist Church and a former member of Melrose United Methodist Church. He was a retired yard Conductor for Norfolk Southern and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy H. Lugar; sisters, Lillie Mae Wood, Pauline Pagan, Alma Byrd and Bessie Britton. He is survived by a son, Paul K. Lugar and wife, Peggy, of Roanoke; grandchildren, Paul K. Lugar Jr., of Bolder, Colorado and Stefanie D. Lugar, of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. E. E. Dick Jones and the Rev. Larry Edmonds officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.

Ok, being that everyone except probably Erik is on facebook, I haven't thought about checking up on here since June...

Let it be known without sounding like a repeat from Jolee, but we do have the best class ever.  I have grown so close to some of you these past few years... all the trips to Roanoke, the lunches, the allnighters, the trips to the courthouse (Jolee I still laugh about that one), dinners, dancing, First Fridays...I've loved every minute of it and it wouldn't be the same without having shared it with each of you..the late night fb chats from coast to coast, picture swapping, and talks and texts on the phone..just make the icing on the cake...thank you verizon for unlimited usage.

So, as we all are approaching 40 or just passed it, it's time to take the big plunge...thanks to Ken for planting that seed many many months ago.  I still can't believe the time is here and in 3 days we will falling to the earth from 13,500 feet.  Secondly, I can't believe how many of you are actually doing this with me...I have the best friends :)  You guys are the greatest.  For those of you not jumping...I love you too.

I guess the next big event we need to plan is New Years Eve in the Big Apple :)
