Lucy Good taught me how to write a paper and make a better than good presentation and delivery. Delivery was of utmost importance to her and I had to practice until she thought it was perfect. I still "practice" to this day to strive for that "perfection" (in my eyes anyway) Lucy Good expected. She kept up with me through the years which meant so much. She was (and will always be) a definite role model for me.

I became interested in Real Estate(RE) while in the medical field and decided to pursue this different profession. I met my husband through real estate and after working together and owning our own company, we had a beautiful daughter after 8 years of marriage. We sold our company, Charter Realty, in 1990 and moved to Isle of Palms off the coast of Charleston,SC. We "retired" early but became involved in the community, the schools and the presbyterian church. I am on the constituent school board for East Cooper, a sunday school teacher, alumni board member for the Univ. of SC., and an active supporter of the College of Charleston since my husband, Don, is a Trustee. Our daughter moved to Clemson, now to Greenville where she works for State Farm Insurance. My whole life revolved around Kimberly so I decided to return to real estate. What timing!! The market is better now, somewhat, but it has been a great time to learn the technology I have missed over the years of not working. Learning this technology and becoming computer savvy has been a tremendous challenge for me. And I thought college was hard!
There is so much more I could say but I will close with thanking God for giving me such a wonderful life and the many, many blessings. He has truly given me "heaven on earth".

Going to RHHS was a big transition for our class coming from Sullivan's Junior High. We started in the 10th grade and had to assimilate in the sports lineup (esp.football), extracurricular activities and clubs, curriculum offerings and class standings. We made new friends along with the old ones and met new teachers with different expectations for us. What a change for those of us from Sullivan's but what an impact we had on the Class of '65!! We survived!!!
